Newry and Mourne Area Learning Community

Our Lady's is an active member of the Newry and Mourne Area Learning Community (ALC). Mrs McAlinden sits on the ALC Principals group and other teachers represent Our Lady s on various sub-groups.

We are very aware of the value of collaborative education in extending the curriculum we are able to offer to our students through links with other schools in the area.

Our Lady s is also involved in meeting the needs of the pupils in the greater Newry area by offering joint courses with partner schools. Current collaborations for 2023-2024 include A Level Spanish and Sports Science (with St Colman's College); Nutrition and Food Science (with St Colman's College and St Paul's HS, Bessbrook); Biology (with St Mark's HS, Warrenpoint).
